Carolyn Custis James
Leigh McLeroy
Reggie Kidd
Rebecca Guillory Gilmer
This author champions the ezer as warrior - every woman's call to battle for the good of others and to advance God's kingdom in her story. President of Synergy and WhitbyForum, Carolyn's latest book is The Gospel of Ruth: Loving God Enough to Break the Rules.
This ezer leads others to a deeper faith through her transparent honesty about life and God and disappointment. Freelance writer, speaker, and author of The Beautiful Ache: Finding the God Who Satisfies When Life Does Not, Leigh has extensive experience in church ministry and marketing.
This seminary professor has seen his own kingdom efforts flourish because of the ezers in his life. Professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Reggie is a musician, a popular online blogger, and author of With One Voice: Discovering Christ's Song in Our Worship.
When Rebecca commands the microphone, Synergy conferences live up to their name. They become synergized! Fueled by her passion to see women soar, Rebecca enlivens and unifies our gatherings with her warm-hearted spirit and gifted leadership. Good job, Roxanne. Last year's conference was such an engaging event--causing us all to think and examine our own lives, walks with God and ministry calling. I am sure the 2008 Synergy conference will be even better! Understanding God's intentions in creating us as women continues to expand vision and open doors wide for ministry!

I am thrilled to be involved in the planning of this conference, and I am sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation of all that God is going to do in and through this weekend. I cannot wait to be with all the women who have committed to come. Amazing "synergy" occurs when we gather in one place--to worship the Lord, to learn, to encourage and challenge one another, to be refreshed. The theme intrigues me--Finding Your Place in the Story: The Return of the Ezer. It is our prayer that each of us will leave this conference with a clear understanding of our place in the story and a new committment to be the Ezer--the strong warrior-helper--that God has called us to be. I hope you will join us!
