Thanks Amy for putting up this top ten list. I really enjoyed reading them. I added a comment about my own Iron Lady Grandma here:

I look forward to more great articles about the value of women leaders. We need them now more than ever! Mark Pierce

Hello, I am new to this site and I may need a little direction. I have been apart of a Leadership development organization for nearly 2 years now. I love it and can't believe how much it has changed my life. I have no problem finding other people who want something different in their lives but I can't find anyone who is willing to stand up and do anything about it. I would love any suggestions you may have. Forgive me if this doesn't correlate with this posting.

I was surfing for research on 'problems of women in pastoral ministry in rural areas' when I found your site. Hallelujah! I recently completed the orientation session of Training in Ministry by Church of the Brethren at Bethany Seminary. I would be happy to receive any info or sites on the subject. I'm hoping to do some research in our rural area where over half of the pastors of the churches are women. The area is economically depressed, not only because of recent events, but traditionally because of poor land quality and lack of industry. I'm searching for categories/questions to interview the 10 or more women and compile their responses to be of help for future candidates. HELP! marilyn j koehler
